How To Create Titles In Motion

Motion is a very good software which allows creators to make titles, and specifically manipulate them, creating very interesting visuals. The program allows users to either start from scratch, or start with a template. Students were advised to start with a template, as that would be much easier for them, in creating their own project.

Below shows just some of the templates available for the users to use.

The templates are within an umbrella of different themes, which will help the user in specifying what title they want, according to what conventions there are of their project. For example, if a student were to make a Youth Drama film, they would prefer a serious, straightforward title. Whereas is a comedy project was being created, students could use a wacky, comical title. The title would definitely vary the quality of the projects opening, as it sets the tone for the rest of the film.

As seen above, when you've selected a template, it allows to you manipulate it, which will help create a better title. The title can easily be previewed, colours can be changed, and the movement within the titles themselves can also be rearranged, allowing for a better title.
