Filming Session 1

We began filming on Sunday 25th January at approximately 12pm, where we decided to film in chronological order of our title sequence. We began with filming a test scene with the camera - we repeatedly had our main character (Seun) exit Angel station, whilst doing this we decided on our technique of how we are going to track the character after he exits and the camera captures a mid shot of him. We used the fig rig to place the camera on. After approximately 3/4 takes of that entrance scene, we then moved on to the close up of the character, reacting to the next character using the tripod. We then captured a shot from behind character, repeating the same journey of exiting the station. We then moved on to the next character (Emily) who was located across (Outside Starbucks) the road from Seun. We captured a shot from across the road, then close up on the character. We then went back to the other side where Seun was located and his next encounter with the next character (Akrem). For this, we used the fig rig once again to follow Seun's character, then we used it to capture Seun falling down, including close ups and low angle shots. We then finished that filming session - each shot was taken around 3-4 times making sure it was accurate to our plan and storyboard. We encountered problems including the overcrowding of people causing it to be difficult to film, this could possibly resolved through re-shooting at at earlier time, possibly on a weekend again.
